Position Senior Electrical Engineer (Pump Stations & Sewerage)

Job Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project comprises the refurbishment and upgrading of various pump stations in the vicinity of Qatar.
Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately. Ability to utilize design software’s are mandatory.
Leads, manages and coordinates the activities of all electrical engineering staff. Ability to supervise simultaneously on different project sites.
Understands all related codes and their application to the project. Act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters. Provides regular reports on progress.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited University with professional Engineering Registration in the United States or in the United Kingdom or any other recognized Professional Institution all to the approval of the Engineer.
Minimum 15 years demonstrable experience, at least 10 years experience in design & build electrical system for sewerage treatment works, pump station, construction management capacity or equivalent projects.
Possession of work license from the State of Qatar General Electricity & Water Authority.
Must be able to review and supervise a broad range of electrical designs activities on a variety of public infrastructure projects including treatment works, pump stations, coordination with existing LV/HV cables, prepare plan, specifications, and cost estimate, analyze, interpret the application of design criteria and check plans and specifications for accuracy of design and completeness and construction supervision.
