Senior Finance Officer - Oil Terminal, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. Package: Negotiable. SOCAR AURORA Fujairah, a joint venture between SOCAR (the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic), Aurora Progress SA (a Swiss-based commodity trading house) and the Government of Fujairah, is seeking to appoint a Senior Finance Officer to handle all financial matters relating to a new state-of-the- art oil terminal in the growing oil trading hub of Fujairah. This position offers the candidate the opportunity to manage both the day-to-day accounting for a major operating oil terminal and the project finance work involved in the terminal expansion. Reporting to the CEO of the joint venture company and managing a small team, the Senior Finance Officer will be responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, monitoring the terminal performance against KPIs, managing relationship with banks and handling all aspects of the project finance that have been put in place for expanding the terminal. Candidates should ideally be qualified accountants, with 3-5 years experience in a finance management role covering both, accounting and treasury functions. Familiarity with the oil industry would be an advantage. An excellent remuneration package is available for the right candidate.
